70% of Prediabetics will get Type 2 Diabetes

You need to be learning everything you can so you can reverse your Prediabetes and leave Type 2 Diabetes in the dust!

What Does Reversing Prediabetes Mean?

Reversing Prediabetes means you have restored all of your abnormal blood tests back to normal.

Prediabetes (those nasty numbers you DON'T want)

A1C: 5.7 – 6.4%

(or 38.8 – 46.4 mmol/mol)

(or 6.5 – 7.6 mmol/L)

Fasting Blood Glucose: 100 – 125 mg/dL

(or 5.6 mmol/L – 6.9 mmol/L)

Prediabetes Reversed (those glorious numbers you DO want)

A1C: less than 5.7%

(or less than 38.8 mmol/mol)

(or less than 6.5 mmol/L)

Fasting Blood Glucose: less than 100 mg/dL

(or less than 5.6 mmol/l)

Having trouble reversing your Prediabetes or Insulin Resistance?

Our Healthy U Group keeps you on track to getting healthy...

NOTE! Do keep in mind that only blood tests done at a lab can confirm you have reversed your Prediabetes.

Just to make sure I'm 100% clear on this point,  home blood testing is normally a smart way for you to know what's going on with your blood sugar numbers...but when it comes to confirming if you've reversed your Prediabetes, DO NOT use home tests.

Instead, get tested at a lab approved by your doctor.

And if you do reverse your Prediabetes, be sure to get tested every 6 months to make sure everything is still ok.

How Long Does It Take To Reverse Prediabetes?

Many ladies cry to me that this is taking wayyyyyyyyy too long!!!

The reality is that you didn’t wake up today and suddenly have Prediabetes, Insulin Resistance or excess weight. And it won’t go away overnight either.

If you ---

Pay close attention to your diet everyday,

AND

Get exercise everyday

AND

Pay attention to all the other things that can increase your blood sugar (it’s not just food)…

You should see some movement in the right direction within 6 months to a year.

Some ladies reverse their Prediabetes quite quickly, within a few months. But many other women need a concentrated effort for many months, if not a few years.

If you have other issues like blood fat problems, cholesterol issues, heart disease, liver or kidney problems or extreme obesity, it will take you longer.

But don’t give up! Our Ladies-Only Diabetes Prevention Group (Healthy U Group). helps to keep you on track.

Can I Get Prediabetes Again?

Yes. And the easiest way to explain this is to talk about trains! Stick with me here and you’ll understand in a minute….

Right now you’re on the track to Type 2 Diabetes. You might get there in 5 years, in your lifetime, or if you’re lucky -- not at all.

Type 2 Diabetes Train

Your Diabetes Prevention job right now is to:

1. Slow your train down to a stop

2. Turn your train around

3. Get going in the other direction (moving away from Type 2 Diabetes)

4. Build up speed and get off the Type 2 Diabetes track

But as with any train track, you can move that train in either direction and get onto any track that’s available.

It would be nice if we could just rip up that Diabetes train track so you’d never stray back in that direction again, but we can’t.

The solution?

You need a lifelong change of habits and how you live.

Whatever you do to reverse your Prediabetes has got to teach you NEW lifelong skills.

That’s why at Power In The Group we’re totally against unsustainable quick-fix solutions.

Sure, some of the YouTube and Internet fads out there might get you dropping tons of weight or manipulating some of your blood sugar numbers...but we both know they won't fix the root cause of your problem.

Quick-fix solutions don’t prepare you to leave the nest.

NEWSFLASH! You’ll likely gain all that weight back too...it happens ALL THE TIME!

The second you stop that crazy diet or those bogus supplements, you’ll be right back on that Diabetes train track AND you’ll get Prediabetes again!

Because quick-fix solutions don’t prepare you to get on with your life and remain Diabetes free – forever.

And that's why you need:

1. To adopt new, lifelong habits around eating, exercise and lifestyle

2. The type of eating, exercise and lifestyle habits you can easily do for life

If you do that…you’ll stay off the Diabetes train track!

But if you choose another option, you’ll likely be back right were you started...or worse.

So Can My Prediabetes Be Reversed?

You bet it can.

But it’s important that you know:

And while that might seem like a tall order, the easiest way to see it happen in your own life is to get the support you need through our Ladies-Only Diabetes Prevention Group (Healthy U Group).
