How to Lose Weight and Keep It Off

Ladies, first the bad news (sorry)...if you're overweight or obese, you're at risk for Diabetes. AND I'm sure you already know that you need to lose weight.

Plus the odds aren't great that you'll actually lose even a few pounds. AND if you do beat the odds and drop a few dress sizes, keeping that weight from coming back could be extremely difficult.

Now the GOOD news (yay!). There is a better solution! Learn how to lose weight and keep it off AND do it in a sustainable, realistic and totally healthy way! Are you interested? Keep reading...

Losing weight and keeping it off is one of the best things you can do when you're overweight or obese AND trying to prevent Diabetes.

Why?

Because losing weight and keeping it off:

  • Increases your glucose tolerance (which is good)
  • Reduces insulin resistance (also a very good thing)
  • Reduces your cholesterol
  • Reduces your blood pressure
  • Reduces your risk of getting Type 2 Diabetes (or complications like a Heart Attack or a Stroke)

All VERY good stuff!

So why aren't most women losing weight and keeping it off?

Why Women Can't Lose Weight and Keep It Off

It is totally possible for almost ALL overweight and obese women to lose weight and keep it off.

Unfortunately, most women won't be able to do it though.

Why? Well, because of 2 reasons...

  1. The way most women try to lose weight in the first place (there are MANY bad ways to lose weight)
  2. What women do after their latest diet (if you have to ask "now what?" after a diet, you've picked a bad way to lose weight)

There are good and bad ways to lose weight.

If you choose a BAD way:

  • You'll probably lose weight very quickly (rapid weight loss)
  • BUT then gain it all back again (and more)
  • AND cause yourself other health problems because rapid weight loss diets are not healthy long-term.

Because of this...fad diets and quickie weight loss solutions are bad ways to lose weight.

If you choose the GOOD way to lose weight:

  • You'll be able to easily eat and live that way for the rest of your life
  • AND you'll experience NO health problems from it

Fad diets and quickie weight loss solutions don't qualify as good ways to lose weight because they are unsustainable, unrealistic and unhealthy.

First let's talk about the bad ways to lose weight. You'll likely recognize many of the fad diets and Hollywood diets like you see in the magazines or on the Internet.

Then I'll tell you the good way to lose weight. You'll see it's sustainable, realistic and totally healthy AND you can start working on it right away!

The Bad Ways to Lose Weight

The quicker you lose weight, the more terrible it is for you and your health.

Why?

Because your chances of weight-loss regain are almost 100%.

But that's not the only bad thing that comes from losing weight quickly...

Quick Weight Loss Health Problems: (you'll get some or all of these)

  • Your hormones will get out of balance (very common with women)
  • Your electrolytes will get out of balance (this can be VERY dangerous and you could have a heart attack, seizure or stroke)
  • You'll get gallstones
  • Your cholesterol will go very high
  • You'll get very constipated
  •  Your periods will stop (this will cause fertility problems)
  • Your hair will thin and fall out
  • You'll experience low blood sugar
  • You'll lose muscle mass
  • You'll get saggy skin and need surgery to get rid of it
  • You'll get "diet face" (you look old, gaunt and sickly)
  • You'll become malnourished and get other health problems
  • You could develop an eating disorder (this happens with women who fast and restrict calories)

Be smart! Don't be a sucker and fall for one of these popular rapid weight loss diets.

The Good Way to Lose Weight

Listen to what the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease says...

"Stay away from 'crash diets' that promise to help you drop the pounds quickly. Aim for losing weight at a slower pace and keeping it off over time."

That's right...lose weight slowly and keep it off.
