Prediabetes Supper Ideas: What to Eat for Supper When You Have Prediabetes

When you have Prediabetes, you have to really to think about what you eat for supper! But working all day at a job doesn’t exactly lend itself to racing home, gleefully tying on an apron, and dancing around the kitchen joyfully making supper for the family. I get it. You’re tired at the end of the work day...

You probably also have other important stuff to do:

  • You might be someone’s partner
  • You’re likely a mom
  • You’re also likely a member of your local community

And...whatever your Facebook status, you have a life away from work...

...and it takes time, attention and effort to make it all work.

Tackling supper just seems like another thing on your huge list of chores…sorta like that never-ending pile of laundry!

I know what you’re thinking…

“Can’t I just grab whatever for supper and be done with it?”

To answer that question you'll have to pick one of the options below...

Option  #1: I'll grab whatever...


Fast food, pizza, take out food, restaurant food, frozen dinners, processed foods and other quick meal options aren't healthy.

Eating this type of food is linked with Heart Disease, Stroke, Diabetes, Obesity, some cancers as well as many other serious health problems...


So...if you choose to eat this way...you're setting yourself up for most likely getting very, very, very, very, very, very sick. 

If your family is eating this type of food for supper (or any meal) they'll likely get sick with diseases too.

Option #2:  I don't want to get Diabetes, Heart Disease, Stroke, chronic diseases or be overweight

Eating whole foods (which is unprocessed food) gives your body the energy it needs without you gaining weight.

Whole foods are also linked with preventing Diabetes, preventing Obesity, preventing stroke, preventing chronic diseases including many cancers and keeping you healthy.

Eating whole foods also helps you to live longer too!

Because 99.9% of take out, restaurant, processed foods or fast food meal or quick meal options are not healthy foods...


In most cases you'll have to cook your supper for yourself.

I'm guessing you're a smart woman that realizes you owe it to yourself (and your family) to go with that second option.
